I held my first SU! Workshop today. I feel it went really well. The ladies all had a great time and want to come to techniques classes - guess I'll have to schedule some now!
These are the 2 Make 'n' Takes we did.
The card base of this one is Brilliant Blue. The image is from Loads of Love and is coloured using the Stampin' Pastels and a Blender Pen. The image is then mounted on Pink Passion and Green Galore. Although you can't see it very well in the photo there is a sentiment on the Green Galore layer which was stamped with Versamark. The card was taken straight out of the SU! demonstrator Getting Started Guide.
One of the ladies who came requested an 8"x8" scrapbook page! I came up with this layout after I was inspired by a card by Chrissie - I just loved this card and showed it to my wonderful upline, Nerine, seeking her opinion of whether to use it as a Make 'n' Take - she suggested it would make a great scrapbook page. She was right! My friend loved it and think the other ladies did too.
The image is the Basics Outline wheel on Whisper White, outlined with Apricot Appeal, Sage Shadow and Pale Plum markers. This is layered on Sage Shadow cardstock and then Pale Plum textured cardstock. I just have to find a suitable photo of my daughter to put on the page now.
